police cameras take pictures of cars and mail tickets every day by the thousands. or they just stick them to your window without you even being in the car. this was an obvious waist of time done deliberately. all info is obtained from your licence plate in a heartbeat.

Could of called the police department and this could of turned into a police escort to the hospital, but instead decided to run and made it look as though hes a criminal. Everyone hates cops cause they don't like authority. Put urself in the cops shoes, what if the guy that was running from the cop says that a family member is dying then runs into the hospital once the cop goes ok go ahead and then shoots everyone in the hospital, then the cop will be fired.

the officer had every right to stop the car, he didnt know at the time, however, when he did he used very poor judgement. he could have mailed a citation, but he was wrong!

wait wait wait, so let me get this bit right, another video shows a cop pull an ambulance over, with a patient in it, with chest pains, the cops chokes the paramedic and then arrests him...yet, his boss says ''he did nothing wrong''. this cop, draws his gun, because the driver didnt stop until they got to the hospital, so in any case a cop wld assume they were running.. yet he gets put on paid leave? wtf, is your country really that fucked up? or just the cops and the boss?

My only issue is after the policeman was given the licence and registration he told the driver that he could screw him over. That was mean spirited and wrong.

the officer was doing his job... now if it was me i would have fallowed the suspect inside and let him go, yes the officer over reacted but the suspect should of explained the situation more calm.

The officer's conduct was terrible. No question there, but as a police officer myself, had Mr. Moats simply stopped and informed the officer what was happening the outcome concerning the traffic stop might have been different. The officer went about his duty all wrong. He no place to make the comments he stated. It really is a terrible thought not to be by your mother when she passes. My sincere condolences...

People in that state of distress don't "simply" act logically. As soon as the officer heard what the problem was, he should have let the guy go immediately. There was another case in Oklahoma where an out of line policeman who lost his bearing delayed an ambulance and cause a patient to have to wait a very long time before getting treatment. This policeman should be held accountable for both what he did and what he failed to do.
