If you don't like the camera you should bring that one back and save up for a new one. Usually if its costly it is better and if it doesn't work on XP you should see if it says XP int eh programs it works with. I would definitely bring it back for an XP working camera but its up to you.

At the end when he asks if he should take it back, I think he could get a better one. WalMart usually sells cheap ons between $20 to $40 and they are not that great. Not sure if it has to do with the frames per second or not but the lag you see is the slowness of the frames. Check online or at a computer store for a higher quality Cam. You may pay over $40 but it's worth it.... if you've got it. Me I settled for a $40 crap HP webcam from WallyWorld aka WalMart.
