Excellent! Finnally a recipe with metric measures! One question - if I would add some sugar will it change the recipe? How much can I add to avoid ruining the recipe yet make them at least some sweet?
very nice video. you might want to try frying the pancakes with a little butter, like we do here in the states. Buttermilk instead of regular milk also makes them thick and rich. Try not whisking them completely and leaving them a bit lumpy. Maple syrup IS A MUST. I hear its hard to come by if you're not in the states. mass produced [corn] syrups are available, though they are much thicker than the real thing and much less flavorful. serve your pancakes with butter and syrup on top. thnkx!
@TitliNihaan i was being a comedian, y u have to squash me all the time scosiety? ( i dont know how to fix that thing that shows you when and where you have misstakes in words and what else now, forgot to say i was just kidding. mom allways told me life was like a box of chocolates, you know what you are going to get when you buy the same box every now and then, but she allso told me that its wrong to sturr counter clockwise)
Just made a paraphrased version of this as I had about 100ml of milk left...really yummy with golden syrup, so looking forward to making them properly!
I made them today for breakfast , they turn out reeeeeAaaaaalllyyyy goooooooood thaaaaanx again , this is the best recipie for homemade pancake i ever tried ,, will never buy boxes again :)
@RogalDorn69 i was hopeing to make the mixture and keep in the fridge so i could just pour out one or two everyday for breakfast, that way i wouldnt have to make the mixture each time i want to nom nom.
@RogalDorn69 so i can have the mixture made on Sunday then have it in the fidge so i can take it out each morning for a lovly nom nom without having to make the mixture everytime.
Great basic pancake recipe! Good job, Titli! I love to use buttermilk instead of regular milk (or if you don't have buttermilk, add 1T white vinegar to the milk) and add a bit of vanilla essence to the batter as well. Yum! I also sometimes add chocolate chips in the batter and they are to die for with vanilla whipped cream... Mmm. Maybe I will have to go make some now at 12 in the afternoon...
thanks for this recipe the box powder mix for pancakes never taste good! Do you have a recipe for pecan pie? thanks for all your videos they're helpfull!
I live in North America, and though I've heard of pancakes being called flapjacks, I have never referred to them as flapjacks. I think it might be a regional thing. Whenever I think of the word flapjacks, though, I think of prospectors cooking them over a campfire.
hey auntie...quick question as hubby is getting fed up eggs for breakfast! does the pan have to be smoking hot or a certain temp? as not to stick? or was it a non stick pan? im confused..jizakAllah in advance :-)
