Nope, I'm currently posted out of SG for a year or two and didn't hear of Caracal until after I'd gone (er, I'm a pal of one of the guy's in the bands dads). They are definitely a band I would go and see though.
Been appreciating gittar rock for 35 years now. I reckon my rockdar is quite well attuned. Believe me if you find the market.... there is success in this music! ;)
@phoenixw2 No one swallows the local food well enough. Its just not controversial enough , unless i try playing the common enemy here and say that Caracal Sux! Jk :) Anyways RIP Gary Moore!
Who ever wrote that song knows about musical composition. It seems to go through several 'chapters' of varied pace. The emotional-build that crescendos starting at 4:45, and then lulls along is very skilled (it literally makes the hairs on the back of my neck go up)
Even as late as 6:05 they are not resting back on repetition and a wind down. Oh no... 6:35 they open a whole new theme.
DAMN!
i miss the singapore local scene
