The only good thing this piece of code could produce is, that it can be changed to work on localhost server (training mode only) where it would only show these prediction hitboxes, so players could train prediction aim. I'd gladly use it to train my rocket prediction with bots :)
a good tell of a hacker is how long they continue shooting after the target is dead. it's a good way to tell a pro from a newb cheater. I frequently shoot a 38-40 LG and alot of the time I dont even over shoot a single LG bolt. so for someone to hit 45% LG and shoot 10-15 bolts after the target has died is stupid and unrealistic

Not at all, not if one is smart in the way he sets the hack. There's no visual clue to make the cheating obvious, everything looks just as if the player were a normal one. What can get one busted is using the aimbot locking too tight or hitting too much with the autofire.

This thing is really between the "pro" and bot :) But most ppl will go with the "pro" for that player and practice more xDD
But the hitboxes is really interesting, as it gives you the "hint" where to shoot. You can practice with this thing, until you know where to shoot, so you will be good w/o cheats :)
those arnt the hitboxes m8. the green box is aim indcator its on model for hitscan weaps like lg mg so on , soon as he uses projectile like rl it moves the box ahaed of where the player is going so the rocket connects
Your missing my point "m8". What I was trying to explain was even with his aimbot, alot of the players seem to not got hit. Therefore the netcode/hitboxes in quake live are fucked...

Its kinda sad when someone spends so much time trying to figure out how to cheat at an online video game and then they still can't get a cheat thats not easily noticeable.

That's due to the player using the hack. The hack itself doesn't aim through walls at all.

LOL, I've always spectate when one player pwnz all in the room :) Especialy look at the RL aim, and how often does it miss the target.
This thing is really between the "pro" and bot :) But most ppl will go with the "pro" for that player and practice more xDD
But the hitboxes is really interesting, as it gives you the "hint" where to shoot. You can practice with this thing, until you know where to shoot, so you will be good w/o cheats :)

those arnt the hitboxes m8. the green box is aim indcator its on model for hitscan weaps like lg mg so on , soon as he uses projectile like rl it moves the box ahaed of where the player is going so the rocket connects

Your missing my point "m8". What I was trying to explain was even with his aimbot, alot of the players seem to not got hit. Therefore the netcode/hitboxes in quake live are fucked...

Punkbuster (and other things like VAC) will never detect private hacks, only public ones.
However, it also means that the only cheaters on QL are the ones who either write the hacks themselves or people who pay $50 to cheat in a free game. ;)
