The idiots having a shot at this guy catching the fish in this video I bet never caught a decent Kingfish before. Before you mouth again try catching a 30kg++ kingie and then tell me if you would put such crap here again. Nice fish buddy.....and I would be swearing to!!!!!
Next time you take newbs out fishing, teach them how to fight the fish before they hook up so you don't have to be so frickin' annoying when you film it..
Thats a nice kingfish to an obviously very inexperienced & uncoordinated angler & he sure must have been happy. His skulldragging technique must have gone very close to actually snapping the rod; Yes, it does happen don't think they are indestructable as I've seen a few gamerods snap even a fully rollered bent butt 80!. Also as you guys should know it is not a world record & is in fact an illegal catch according to IGFA rules as the crewman touches the rod & you cannot use braid either.
@001001sith putting your thumb on the drag to create a easy way of more pressure, but you and take you thumb off if its to much pressure. it's a good technique to know.
I wonder how much this guy can benchpress, he can't even handle his own fish so someone needs to help him. If that guy wasn't there he would let that rod shoot straight into the water
