i cheat. i only get 15 fps in this when recording with fraps, so i record at .5 timescale and speed it up later in editing.

I'm also using my own custom crysis config that brings down shadow res and far away object res (2 main crysis fps drains). my res while recording is 848 by 480.

my rig: mid 2008 15 in macbook pro (8600 gt w/ 256 megs vram and 4 gigs ddr2 corsair mem)
