This is a pretty canyon. The only downside to this trip is a long (approximately 11 mile) virtually flat water section in the middle of the run. Almost all of the whitewater is concentrated at the beginning and the end.

Good video. I'd be interested to hear how the helmet cam and video recorder were protected from water. Were they purpose-built for use in wet environments?

It was a compact waterproof Pentax still camera (with video capability) which I mounted to my camera with tape and zip ties. Funky, but it was secure and worked well.
