We NEED to tax the rich a bit more, as long as they are still filthy rich, how can they complain? Go look at the federal tax brackets, and do the math. If Republican's cared more about our debt than money in their pockets... we'd be doing good.
When I see Republican's agree to losing their pensions, their perks and their health benefits, I will respect them for expecting my generation to do so. We NEED to tax the rich a bit more, as long as they are still filthy rich, how can they complain? Go look at the federal tax brackets, and do the math. They still bring home a lot more than the person in the next bracket down. So it's still fine. It will help us pay off debt. If Republican's cared more about our debt than money in their pockets... we'd be doing good.

As a Matter of fact, I had traveled to several countries as a photojournalist., then as geo-surveyor in Latin America. Other countries' perceptions doesn't necessarily translate to the truth. Which proves that you're not using analytical thinking at all.
There' no doubt Bush was unpopular to our enemies because of the hard stance he took against terrorism to protect America, but Africa loves him for pouring billions to fight aids there, idolized there, as our allied countries.

USA ONLY became popular in African countries after Obama. "Latin America is all that matters?" What world are you living in? You really need to get out of the American continent and travel to Europe and Asia. I graduated in UK, and worked in France, and Germany.

China became powerful mainly because they got to taste the fruits of Capitalism, thanks to Nixon who opened their iron doors in the 70s plus the various trades agreements that we & other western countries brokered. It is not because of Obama --in fact, his recent Asian trip was an utter failure for failing to broker trade agreements with Korea & Japan to save us from mounting debts (which he tripled) because China refused to buy them anymore. He is a clearly a weak Bogus POTUS!
