i am wondering if you think it seems possible to give a transplant recipient a bone marrow transplant from the donor AFTER the transplant has been done. please respond if you get this message. it is very difficult to get information about this anywhere, because the type of procedure i'm refering has never been done to my knowledge (bone marrow transplant post organ transplant). please email me at hgardine@student.umass.edu if you see this. thank you.
i'm writing as somebody who received a live kidney transplant from my father this past june. i am only 23. i have had suffered multiple side effects from the immunosuppression since the transplant- I am losing my hair from Prograf and am extremely severely depressed. the transplant has not improved my quality of life at all. in fact i think it has worsened, since i am constantly battling side effects and the anxiety of immunosuppression and cancer risk is impossible to deal with.
Thank you so very much for posting this and all very important and informative videos. Raising two small children , whom suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia , this is truly wonderful and a blessing for me to have this awareness and HOPE. Thank you! Peace&Blessings!
