One of the things I love about what Jo wrote for Pottermore about wand woods and cores is that no matter which wand you've got, you can go on Pottermore and look up the properties - and you will be like

"oooh, my wand is THE BEST!! My wand has endless awesome qualities!!"

I'm considering doing a Mary..... Make my own wand! Now I know it has to be rowan, and we have rowan trees all over the place here! :D
