  • Kind of amusing to see that woman's pet pig being blessed! I also was touched by the woman who had brought a picture of her deceased pet.

What was it in that jar that was getting blessed?

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Many people don't give animals the credit they deserve. They are closer to God than most people. Of course they have souls! Its very obvious if you wake up and open your eyes! How could you even conceive of any other possibility? -- Thanks for posting this. May God Bless ALL "The Children"! ~8-))

  • this is wonderful-thanks for posting it--

  • i urge all who take their beloved pet to a "blessing of the animals," would make a financial contribution to their local pet shelter, for all the abandoned & forgotten animals, which are also precious in G-d's sight!

My young nephew was not old enough to care for a dog yet so when I took him to the Pet Blessing last year, he took his stuffed toy puppy dog.

Fr. looked at him and his stuffed puppy and blessed them both.

  • I wish they went to the shelters and blessed them there.

They are the ones thrown away and forgotten.

    They need blessings there.

  • Neat!

  • Fantastic, Justin! Love it!

  • Blessing of the Animals are some of my favorite events....fun and uplifting.
