  • How do I download Doc Louis's Punch-Out?

  • @abkokalo Sorry, it's no longer available. It was a limited Nintendo Club award.

  • Is Doc Louis a Former Boxing Champion or something? Or is he just a Great Coach, i'm confused

  • @WWEEEEE7777777716901

well according to the story, he was a former heavyweight boxer in the late 50s

  • if doc louis ever becomes a boxer, i hope he doesn't telegraph his attacks anymore.

  • i can see where your falt is. when you got knocked out it showed the wiimote and nunchuck. it best to play the game with the wiimote sideways

  • Probably is. I wanted to give the motion controls a fair shake, first.

  • @RileyChu916 Um, I'm pretty sure the main issue is that you can't duck an uppercut, motion or not.

  • How Am I gonna get this game?

  • You can't anymore, sorry. It was a limited edition Nintendo Club reward.

  • @WhiteKhakis cheats

  • @WhiteKhakis actually Club Nintendo is doing it again this year, maybe every yeat, so he got a chance

  • @WhiteKhakis Actually they brought it back, i think

  • Doc Vs Mike Tyson, Who wins?

  • Mr. Dream.

  • You may lose to Louis a number of times, but at least he isn't an ass**** about it.

  • Wow, you work fast...or at least faster this time than usual, I guess being as it is a short "project" and all.

I was planning to let people play with it for a week or so before I decided it was something to share with the world, y'know?

I like how the first thing you do after getting up that last time and Doc says "Keep it clean"...is sock him in the face. I'm actually more surprised that you got away with it than the fact you actually did it. The game usually discourages random punches.

  • It's old news by that time, D- Joou; besides, this is an "Exclusive Rarity" so it's not like I'm cheating people from experiencing it for themselves.

When it comes to getting videos onto YouTube, all it really takes is the time to record the original footage and upload it to YouTube. Editing takes about 1 minute if it's a single-shot footage, and up to 10 or so if there's a lot of footage to clip together. I don't rerender the video - that's why it's so fast.

  • What actually takes a bit of time is writing up the description, especially if I want to rewatch the video. I'm still fine tuning this this process. Also, if it's a crazy project like the Pangya stuff - that takes me a while because I keep wanting to try out new postproduction/YouTube features.

...and I'm guessing I've went more than a little much into all that, so I'll stop.

Hitting Doc in the face... I just wanted to see if I could get away with it! (He got me good later, as you'll see!)

  • Yes, descriptions are really what take time...I spent a couple of hours today easily just by going back over my frame of mind and observations from two stages of Castlevania.

Granted one of them had three logical "parts" and a lot of stuff happened, but I learned that the limit for description length is somewhere in the neighborhood of about 5000 characters.

    Docs don't like being hit in the face...much like they don't like losing their candy. You'd best remember this lesson. ^_^;

  • Right now I'm just writing my usual one-liner after the (often punny) title and then a bit of background information on what I'm covering. Then I watch the video and make those "hot-links", a new thing I'm trying out.

It does seem to take a bit of time, but I guess I'm just getting used to it. I'll find someway to streamline it, you bet! Maybe I'll somehow take notes while playing so I don't have to rewatch the whole thing again.

  • Well, I wasn't counting time-wise, I just meant that you'd have to go and do it...which is by default something that requires more effort than...well, not doing it.

I guess maybe I've just not become used to you having little of anything in "current events" to post.

It's new and different and maybe a little scary. :3

  • Hey, I covered a little Mario Galaxy near release, and then did "Wario Land:Shake It" inside and out while it was brand new! (Mario Galaxy, I was trying something different, Wario, I did coverage of all the bonus missions.)

Mostly though, yeah, you won't be seeing the newest of the new from me, necessarily. I'd rather you play it on your own, aye? Only if I have something I want to point out.

  • omg w00t! :DDD!!!!
