thanx for the upload. Claire was my favorite character on SFU. I don't see why she won't do great in that role. I found Streisand's voice to be shrill sometimes, and well, she was not a great actress either.
This kicks ass! Bravo, Lauren. I'm a huge Dylan fan and very rarely love cover versions, but she tears this up. She does a very "Dylan" thing -- she sings the hell out of it in a unique way, with unusual and distinct phrasing all her own. And passion galore. A+!
Great song, John Martyn did a beautiful version in 1969 on his 'London Conversation' album.
Lauren is so talented and it's good to see someone who really seems to be enjoying performing live...Van Morrison should take a leaf out of her book, I've seen him several times and love his music, but he's got to be one of the grumpiest, most resentful live performers ever. I know that he's incredibly shy but he sings as though he despises the audience and the atmosphere is always very disappointing.
it's brilliant - not perfect but heartfelt. Probably not the best cover ever played but fun and sincere. I'd have loved to be in the audience.
