Actually, the GH1 Hammer-on engine is much different than GH2. I think the only time I've ever successfully used HO PO's in GH1 was the intro to Fat Lip. They're almost impossible to use.

the paper allows you to see less notes at a time therefore taking away from the amount of notes your brain has t comprehend at a time. the further the paper, the less comprehending, but if you go to far down obviously you wont have enough reaction time.
