The part at 2:50 is monumentally stupid. Dom keeps wandering out of the light and getting himself killed, RIGHT before your checkpoint. If you're stuck, just run inside the searchlight building before he has a chance to fuck you over. He'll still die, but you'll get a checkpoint.

Dom is stuck in a endless death loop. Gears of war 2. on insane. the Ai squadmembers can take a lot more punishment then you. say reaver fires a rocket at you, it hits directly, you die on insane. they fire it at one of you squadmembers, directly, they still standing. However they can die on insane on gears of war 2. from bleed out.

As for a game where your teammates are helpful, try Republic Commando. Believe me, the few parts when you don't have your squad with you are the hardest.

Good walkthrough, but the PC version looks much better graphics wise. Also has better physics.  For instance, when you kick a door it falls down, it doesn't just get pulverized.

@TheTotino01 Fail to see how thats relevant to my comment, if its a question of whether the PC or console AI is better, they are probably exactly the same. But in theory, the PC AI has the potential to be much better as a good PC is much more powerful and can support much more complex calculations than a console.

As for the how the AI actually was in the game, the friendly AI was absolutely terrible, but the enemy AI was good for the most part.

@Kevithemaster AI for gears of war in general is ok at best most of the time ... for friendlies it suks balls especialy wen u need their help but sometimes they pull through... for the enemy, its better than the friendly, but the harder to kill more advanced enemy has real good al

i just finished this level on Insane, i did the same thing like this one, i killed the first 2 guys first when I entered the door, threw a grenade on the emergence hole, didn't shoot the propane tank yet, and killed the rest of them. i was having a hard time on this level in the beginning but when I figured it out it's all easy for me now

Another plan is to also go into the building and attract their attention to the window. DON'T shoot the propane tank outside though, that way when they run to the window, the Krill get them. Just watch them run by the side incase they flank yuou.
