It's a very goofy anime so far from what I've watched, but the action sequences are fast and well animated and the characters are hilarious. Recommend watching it.

No clue if there is romance, but there are odd relationships between the wielders of the weapons (Black Star) and the weapons themselves (Tsubaki).

Its like bleach , shinigami and zanpaktou but this they call technies (Forgot :p) and weapon , the weapon is call Soul eater cuz they eat demon soul such as kesin after thy kill it, when thy eat 99 kishin soul and 1 witch soul , thy transform into better weapon like BANKAI and they have a skill like shikai call soul resonence
