The difference between Bon era and Brian era is very simple - Bon era, complete group of badass muthas, Brian era - polished stadium rock.

I won't forget when I first got my first copy of If You Want Blood You Got It for Christmas 1986, I blasted this and pissed off the Bon Jovi/Cinderella/Poison loving sheep (apart from my oldest brother who liked thrash and hair metal). I actually got into fistfights with Bon Jovi fans because I liked AC/DC, The Who, Pink Floyd and so forth as an 11 year old in 1987 (no bullshit here). Now AC/DC and Bon Scott (may he RIP) are LEGENDS whereas Bon Jovi and Poison are HAS BEENS!
