I've heard the first one before. Sapling (aka Tijus Keha) and Flint (aka Tawis Karong), much like Cain and Abel, didn't get along. Tijus and Tawis had to live apart for a time, but they created things during their separation. Tawis didn't destroy Tijus's creations, but made them huge and menacing, whilst Tijus shrunk Tawis's creations down to a normal and bearable size for humans. He fixed his own creations too, and then killed his brother, thus eliminating his influence over the animals.
As an English teacher, I would give you an A+ for this! Your presentation and analysis were clear and interesting. I am hoping to use this for my American Literature class, so thanks for your hard work!
iroquois is NOT a tribe. it referrs ONLY to the treaty. there are many nations and tribes allotted to the iroquois treaty, but iroquois is NOT a tribe. i am Seneca , part of that treaty.
@thered702 and furthermore, woman is athe oldest form of worship. these myths are the same i heard as a boy. brings back memories. anywho, the woman is the creator. yes, she needs a man's seed, but she is the creator. she is holy. and should be treated as such. that is why women the world over are exploited as objects. to discredit the creator. pure evil if you ask me. im going home soon.
