Are there any videos floating around anywhere from the Green Tour where they posted "The Rules"? It was a film put up on the screen behind Bill.

One of the rules were "Please don't wait for the quietest moment of the quietest song and shout RADIO FREE EUROPE... Mike really hates that" Lol.. or something like that.

I think michael with his back to the audience is odd. I do not understand why Michael sing with back to the audience. But I think song is very beautiful REM song :)

i'm not 100% sure, but i think he's just getting seriously into his signing when he does that. he normally makes a lot of eye contact to interact with the audience. i'm thinking that this is just a step beyond closing his eyes when he sings. or just a being alone with himself - sort 0f - he never is alone with himself on stage really.

Heidi.. It used to be very common for Stipe to sing with his back to the audience. He was supposedly very shy, and songs like You Are The Everything was very personal.

Great song! Green is underrated, even by REM fans. Not as good as Document but much better than both Out of Time and Automatic for the People... if you ask me anyway.
