There was a Bungie guy named Froman and he would always camp with a precision weapon. They made a plaque of his face with a sniper rifle on it as well.

@FatKidNom Zanzibar from Halo 2. The map with the beach and power station. The area known as Camp Froman was the sniper position in between the power conduits and the beach wall hole where in Halo 3 the bubble shield spawned. If there were a moment I doubted my Halo fanboy-ness, it would not be right now; that's for sure!
