@rozannelow both, there are games and movies in the franchise. There are two official movies and 13 games. These games are all different stories with different plots, characters ect. The first movie is an original movie unrelated to the Final Fantasy games, but the second movie is based directly on the seventh game, infact it is a sequel of the events of the seventh game with the same characters. That movie is what this video contains.

These scenes are all from the movie "Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children", so they're not actually cutscenes from any Final Fantasy VII game. I recommend watching the movie, though it's potentially more meaningful if you've played through the Final Fantasy VII game (the movie is set some time after the game ending, I think it's 2 years after).
