I find that buying the best tools is always the right choice. The Total Cost of Ownership is lower, and you can work more efficiently. When I switched from running a renovation business to running another type of business I keep that philosophy. It has served me well. No sense in cheaping out on tools.
Blade is getting worn out. Go to home depot and buy the 40 dollar Husky 10 inch blade. After I changed mine it stopped doing that. I have this same saw in this video.
Use a better diamond blade or try using granite blocking tight to the end of your tile, same trick as to prevent chip-out in woodworking. With that said, I don’t have a problem with a small chip-out at the end of the cut as you never see it when the tile is laid down.
these and a grinder with the dimond cutter on it work great for tile jobs, the grinder is great for cutting out around shower pipes and base thanks for the vid
"My team of tile setters consists of 18 women and we do excellent professional work, but we still like to learn more from your videos, thank you for all the great tips.
I don't see a model referenced here. Can you provide the model here and possibly recommend other wet saws either by Dewalt or other brands that you like?
I don't do videos like that. My suggestion is that you take the time to go to the DeWalt website to get this information. As for other brands I like, I just test them separately as I get them. If I DON'T like them, you never see the videos. My style is different than Consumer Reports or side-by-side comparisons in magazines.
I bought a cheapo harbor freight wet saw but put a Dwalt blade on their--sweet!!! Not as nice as a Dwalt saw, but for the DIY'r who wants to save some coin on a one-time project, it is a great way to go.
I never quote prices. These videos will be up here for years. If I put prices in the videos and say the price, then in a year people will be a little upset when the price goes up. You want prices, you need to Google it......
Great question. You'd have to do all types of scientific testing to be objective. All I can tell you is I love this saw. It makes precision cuts time after time.
Thank u all my questions were answered now i just need to save up for one. 95% of my power tools are dewalt so i might as well keep buying dewalt.

Hello,
Could you please advice on how to avoid the tile breaking at end of cut? I am going really slow, but it still happens.
Thank you in advance.
