Tom has made very strong an true arguments. We are not professionals. Getting paid to see a movie would be awesome but its fun just to talk about a film you liked or didn't like. Tom is hilarious, among others but their are videos featuring dogs and cats and that are way more funny (no offense intended Tom). Tom's personality is what makes people like him. Jump cuts are extremely useful especially for me and it def. helps out a video when you're talking and draw a blank all of the sudden.

Jump cuts are absolutely necessary. Talking off the top of your head for 3-5 minutes without a detailed script is quite difficult. We don't have the luxury of a freaking teleprompter and we all make delivery mistakes that need to be cut out. Even using an outline helps and keeps one on topic.
