i love this song, the 'plugged-in' version has a driving rhythm, and a kick-the-door-down sense of urgency that comes from the electric guitars and the drums... i was surprised to see that this version works too. very understated and suspenseful.
I generally do not like bands with chicks in them.... Save your shrill "sexist" remarks cuz I love all women. Even the ugly as shit ones. Generally I find the work to be sub par. Metric is an exception though. I like this song very much. It's powerful.
I'll save the shrill "sexist" remarks cuz' I AM A WOMEN.... and I don't generally like this "type" of music with a lead as a woman either. Like you though, I agree... this song is powerful. This is one of two that she does that I like so far. Hope they stick around for a while.
