  • Why is he wasting time talking about supernatural BS and get on with why these representitives are there, and build a case for the people. Get over the past and start working.

  • We are all one of Mother, we have been brainwashed to think otherwise, but now we are awake.. peace to all

  • I met this man once, he let 3 of my friends and I camp on his land and he showed us his buffalo and his horse. He was very welcoming and warm. I wouldn't blame him for "hating" white people, if you know anything about history, but the time I spent on his land and talking with him, I never ever got the impression that he hated anyone. I got the impression from some other people I met at Pine Ridge but not this man or his family. Thank you Alex.

  • He is a lovely, funny, warm human being. I loved watching and listening to him speak here. I am lucky enough to have memories of listening and speaking with him in person, on his land. It wasn't till we left his land I found out how well respected he is in the area, when we went to the Badlands. It's just over 10 years ago, I still haven't rewritten and finished the illustrations for my book he helped me to put a little closer right.

I respect this man & his family very much.

  • I understand how he does not like what white people represent~I hope he can understand that there is many of us white people who do not represent bad, many of us represent a different culture and many of us may not even feel white on the inside

  • I don't know what this is about, but why is a Canadian company in there? South Dakota is a poor state and should get money off of their resources. If it is on reservation land, the Indians should get it. Indians are treated like second-class citizens. They probably have to carry special non-citizen identification. They are the focus of atrocity and injustice on the borders of civilization pressed by European rejects who don't deserve a home. Moto: Eploit, will travel, kill, and maim. Canada Out

  • Very intelligent and amazing person. I wish more people would respect his words, and the indengenous people world wide.

  • I am white and I have no problem saying "I hate white people and everything they represent!"

  • @kelay2004 Hey, settle down - down all white people are bad. I'm french canadian descent and we didn't massacre indians - the british did. In fact, native americans fought alongside my ancestors against the british in the 1750s over the Ohio river valley.

  • Wow I don't think I could say I hate white people in front of all white people. That might not help his cause. I hope he gets point across

  • You have no idea what he and his family have gone thru. When a Native American says t hat they 'hate white people' you have not listened to his explanation of this. The prejudice of what we face. The whispers, not being taken seriously, criticized for our dress, the way we speak. Nothing that a white person can imagine.

This family is living the best way they can and our government does nothing to help, nothing to help them rise up like other Americans. Google him and you will see.

  • I see what you mean. This guy was done wrong 3 TIMES!!!, but still I don't think he should hate all white people, He even said its against his Lakota nature. But hopefully he will come back to nature if enought good white people help him.

  • I was raised to tell people I was anything but Indian. Then she told me bits and pieces of how she tried to raise her family in the south. Indian Reservations were closed by the 'white' government and native people were made to move to shanty homes which anyone of color, mostly black, were made to live. They were all treated the same. Name calling, beatings anything that blacks had to endure, native people also had to endure living off rez.

Unless you are native, you will not get it.

  • @Dealz1988 I agree! His children and grandchildren will see him hating what he believes white people represent and that hate will just continue on and on, it's a cycle.
