Yeah we get alot of them here in NM they're cool. I've never seen them shoot blood though I think thats an old wives tale, or mabey different than we have in NM, I caught an albino oen a couple of summers ago.

There are a lot of albino ones at White Sands missle range.

A number of horned lizard species do shoot blood from their eyes (you can find videos on it on youtube) but for unknown reasons they only seem to use this defense against canids, that is dogs, coyotes etc.
