the band sounds good. i just can't get over some dude completely rock god posing Kim Thayil's leads. turning soundgarden into a motley crue show is a little disheartening, it's good to see they are out there keeping these great songs fresh. just wish kim would be out there doing it in his rough, angular, and understated, manner.

To be honest, I really can't tell a difference. I mean, if you were to hear this as an MP3, you would never be able to tell that was Peter and not Kim.

I've listened to SG that long and that closely. I could tell mainly from hearing the playing attitude (lazy, concentrated, quick, nervous, comfortable, etc) and from hearing the guitar tones.
