I am a biz journo preparing for a second round of interview with a company. this vid helped mea lot to know about what prepaid debit card industry is all about.
The problem here is that there is a lot of confusion and little information being provided to prepaid debit card users.
First off, prepaid debit cards incur fees, just like credit cards, checking accounts (for those unable to keep a minimum balance), and check cashing. A good card provider will and should have their fees easily accessible, if not, you should be suspicious.
Prepaid cards are mainly for people denied a bank account and need a way to shop and pay bills.
Anyone who uses debit is a fool. A 1 percent cashback credit card is the way to go. People who can't manage their credit are fools and should use cash.
These are available in the UK. Some have monthly fees, some don't. The fees for their use don't seem as high as the examples shown here. Someone's got to pay for it somewhere along the line,as long as the costs are not too high. The main problem is not telling people upfront what all the costs are going to be.
I'm up in Canada and I used to have one of these. If I put in $200 and gradually used that money over time about 10-30 of that is lost in fees. Complete rip-off.
corporate always cheat and steal from people, which is why I would never feel bad to steal from them, however I would never steal a dime from a hard working individual as my self.
Think about the convenience, security and access the prepaid cards provide. It can be a great tool for budgeting, allowance for kids or way to get away from check cashing fees.
Let us make sure we do not kill a product which is a life saver for many of us.
People need to have realistic expectations. The company offering prepaid cards has to pay for customer service, fraud write-offs, processing, marketing and many other expenses. If they do not charge any fee how do you expect them to survive. Almost all of us are aware of the $30 to $50 overdraft fee that banks charge besides other fees. And those who think a checks are free need to consider the money they spend in getting check books besides the $20+ stop payment fee in case they lose a check.
Prepaid cards offer tremendous value and are very helpful for a lot of people. Just like any other products, there are some good and some bad cards out there.
Deyanira Del Rio is a very good looking and smart woman! I'd love to date her but I guess she's in New York while I'm down on level 14 of the Deep 13 complex. Will I ever find the love I seek? (-_-)

stop banking period. Work for someone or a companys they will cash your check or pay you cash.
The banks are the ones making the per pay cards. IT has a Visa logo on it.
GET IT visa is a part of the world banking system.
What has been going on in america has everything to do with global banking system that has taken over American banking a long time ago.
Own and operated by the Rothchild banking dynasty.
And that is the problem in America.
