  • Trop bien. C'est ma fête aujourd'hui, quelqu'un m'a donné le lien ! Anna, per qui Anna ? per me ! De quel prénom Ninon est-il le diminutif ? Hein ? On est le 26 juillet. Jour des fous.

  • i think the lion wants space..

  • 30 people meant to click the like botton.

  • The genius part of Creature Comforts is that these are actual interviews!

  • THE CHICKENS!!!! 3:05

  • where did she download it from?

  • this makes me want to get into stopmotion so bad, but, I'm a little reluctant considering the fact that there isn't much stopmotion done nowdays.... :( sadly.

  • ...what's "double glaze"? or is that guy saying something else?

  • @tokyogirl345 double glaze is two sheets of glass to make a window rather than 1

  • love the lion

  • My teacher in film art showed my class this today... on my mind all day.

  • love it, love the facial expressions and audio, magic! very funny.

  • I remember watching this as a kid this was on a DVD with these other clay animation shorts, I forgot what it was called. I remember there was a red hand bag in it... Can anyone help me out?

  • I wanted to know that too! The one with the mom and daughter and handbag.

  • @LongLiveEpicFail "Not without my handbag" is the video you're talking about. It's another Nick Park bit.

  • Aww, this is brilliant! I kow a lot of Nick Park's work, but for some reason this never crossed my path.

    Very amusing!

  • I remember this so well! I used to watch this when I was a kid and I loved it. Thanks for uploading. xxx

  • m_) By all means, and most definitely a truly masterpiece, I LOVE THEM ALL!!!

  • I LOVE this short cartoon! I'm so glad it won an Oscar for being so great.

I think my favorite character is the Jaguar from Brazil. He steals the show.

  • The bird in the background pulling the other's beak...hilarious :DDDD

  • i love the pooping in the bakground

  • i love the lion(?) :D

  • My favorite food is... I'm afraid to say.. steak.

  • nice vid!

  • In Brazil, you have a'space.

  • Nick Park

    Genius.

    Enough said.

  • yeah, Aardman in general turns out great shorts and movies

  • @Karmoon7 not with this one.

  • Name it and i Go !!

  • in brazile you have espace!

  • it sounds like me when speak your language.

with the swimming and everything.... haha, bravo!

  • how bittersweet

  • I think they DID know they were being recorded, my friend- GETSLAPPED09. Why else did young Andrew the polar bear get oh so very political?

  • That lion's movement and emotions are dead on.

  • '...that i have nice weather, that i can...just..have a ...nice water, you know, to dive , to swimming....'''

  • Ah the classic ordinal Creature Comforts!

  • lol , no not lion stake andrew...

  • Genius

  • lmao 3:22 watch the 2 in the background!!

Plus I love it when animations have birds with teeth its hilarious.

  • 3:09 is my favorite part!

  • Yes in a box with that cold wet weather you cant possibly live that long, a price to pay for the big brother prison that this all wicked world has instituted for man animals and even plants...

ha and those people living in a box just don't known how to do anything, they cannot survive in the wild now hell no they confined to the boxes for life...

  • 1:03

  • lol

  • I needa Spaice!

  • The little lemur/tarsier thing at 2:38 is HILARIOUS! And I work in an old peoples home so find it even more funny and know what she's on about XD

  • I wonder, I wonder... that people wasn't aware that they were recorded. that the animators just asked a random question and if the question was related to a specific animal or event... I guess they made it like that.

I really like when they add "Uhh...umm..." sighs, clearing throats, stammering and all that. and hand movements like we use!

  • I think they didn't have a clue they were being recorded. Good way to make a show though.

  • wasent this a t.v show?

  • its still on in britain - its on a saturday right before you've been framed XD

  • In Brazil we like meat! :-) I LOVE THE LION!!!

  • i love the first turtle scene

  • this fucking lion drives me crazy ^^

    very good!

  • whoah, i remember this from when i was like 3 years old!

    so cool seeing it again.

  • love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:26 We don't have space!

  • @sugarsmax 4:10 name it, and i go!

  • The voices used are all people who were interviewed in convalescent homes (except for the kid- some visitors were interviewed too).

  • Some were also from housing projects and the polar bears were a family living in a shop.

  • Thank you so much for posting this ;-D

  • What is this Episde called?

  • It's the original one from 1989, so it's just just called Creature comforts...

  • what was the VHS called with this clip on it?

  • "Aardman classics" it's on DVD too ;)

  • please, where did you got this video from?

i realy would like to download it!

  • this is one of the best personifications of animals I have ever seen.

  • I have this on VHS that's how old this is! LOL at 3:40!!!

  • hahhhhha

  • Fabulosa animação de 1989 de Nick Park ganhadora da premiação do Oscar!

  • This is absolutely fantastic. Nick Park is a genius. ITV is gay.

  • best:)

  • A classic....thx for posting....seriously...thx...--Lou

  • this is classic . i hate the remake

  • Poor Animals...

  • creature comforts is such a laugh

  • Wow, I swear I've seen this particular animation before on TV right here in the US, although Creature Comforts wasn't made into a series here until much later. Very clever stuff. x3

  • PS: we move our hands to emphasize our speech, just like the creature!

  • The accent of the Brazilian animal is good. Its exactly the way people speak here. However we do not have lions in Brazil, neither have we jaguars or any animals which resemble this creature, thats awkward.

  • yes! ther's no lion in brazil, but it's so funny think that lion want to go in brazil! just for holidays.

perhaps it is not a lion but a puma? :-)

  • its jaguar :D

  • Thats becuse the people speaking are real people being interviewd.

  • byth

  • "You have espace!"

    So true.

  • funny stuff :)

  • i was taught by greg boulton at preston university between 2002-05, but sadly he left when his friend passed away. was such a great person too.

  • i love this show

  • I love the brazilian accent of the lion!! Brasiu. Loool

  • Puma: We don't like Potatoes, we like meat..Fresh MEAT.

    I love this show

  • Classic - The first time I saw this was at an animation festival at the Palace of Fine Arts.

  • The large Brazilian cat sounds a bit like Felipe Massa, LMAO! So funny, N.Park is really a genius. Mr Park for an OBE. :)

  • I was thinking same thing, sounds just like Felipe.

  • DEFINETELY! HAHAHHA

  • YES NICK PARK

    !

  • type in the lads in shades

  • this is a uk prodution there are two or three

series of it nick park is also a brit

    (CREATURE COMFORTS)

  • These guys are awesome. The worst thing they've ever made was the Wallace and Gromit movie, and that was pretty good.

  • i would like to know the questionns that the voices were asked.

i think the polar bear family were asked about zoos, but most of the rest might have been asked how they liked living in a care home (that sloth thing) or their house or maybe a hospital??

  • They were asked how they felt about the zoo and the animals.

  • Nick Park is a genius! This is awesome!

  • oh, i love mockumentaries :)

  • LMFAO! The way the hippo lets out a pile of dung while the other one is talking - hilarious! Love the one Cats v Dogs. Classic.

  • My favorite short film, bar none. Nick Park is a genius. It's too bad the American show was such crap!

  • sooooooooooooooooooo good

  • i need space...loved the lion...thanks for sharing

  • Wow, Thanks for sharing! I love the Lions and Chips part haha, ive got a VHS tape with this on somewhere, but yeah, thanks for sharing!

  • how can i get the show in to uk??

  • wow i have this episode on vhs

  • Whats great about this is that Nick Park (guy who animates this and wallace and gromit) creates the character to the voice.

They dont make the character and then find a voice for it, they build the character around the voice. Thats whats so authentic about this show, I love it!

  • ...soz didnt finish...yeah a few people audition but some are just picked at random! (i saw a "behind the scenes")

    There! now i'm done.

  • Yeah u no all the people they interview...they don't know they're gonna be on creature comforts, they just agree to be on t.v. and then the aardman animators pick an animal that the voice would suit!

  • they must do they, they refer to themselves as animals....

  • listen closely though, and most of them actually dont. only some

  • This is SO depressing because it's ironically true in some of the things.

  • i tried out for this show, but i didnt get it :(

  • the blue birdy is so cute with it's high voice <3 just love it!

  • I love this show but it's never on!

  • ah man the lion / couger is classic.

  • lisa from big brother 9 does the voice of a cat on this and im tryna find it

  • i love the koala

  • the puma is fantastic!

  • lol@ the koala with the gigantic glasses

  • i thought it was a bushbaby

  • i love the little hippo

"most of the cages r a bit small...and rather grotty" LOL XD

  • made by same people as wallace and grommit

  • lol poor animals

but the animals were so cute

  • oh man, some of you are really too dumb to be true! this is funny because it takes the piss out of prison, nursing homes, old folks homes, and quite literally ZOOs and all other institutions that claim to have been built to provide animals/people with safety and comfort, when all people really need is be in part of nature and part of the world! feel alive, and now watch it again and switch your brain on this time round ;)

  • fu fu FU!!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHAHAHA I'M SO STONED

  • I thought the poop scene was kind of disturbing (although aardman claymation often is), but all in all I though it was pretty good. They diserve that series on ABC.

    p.s. is there still?
