That is really cool that you got up close to a tiger shark. It would be nice to cut the lines off of the sharks that were tangled, and remove the lines with the hooks resting on the coral. It is amazing what some countries will do for shark fin soup. We should boycott those countries. I heard that harming wildlife is now a crime against nature in some south american country. Hopefully this trend will continue throughout the world.
Why do people hunt sharks? They did nothing to you! And if you say its because they eat people or bite them, just remember what part of the world ur in they own the ocean!!

If the possibility of making a significant amount of money from harvesting shark fins exist, can we expect them to act differently? The real culprits that must be properly tackled are those that allow for this possibility to exist , namely the Chinese and Taiwanese markets that drive the worldwide demand for shark fins
