If that is true, then would we have to start from scratch on other planets to make things such as buildings and grow trees, etc. Or would technology play a massive part? It is true that there are no known planets a million times the size of the earth, only stars. But the universe virtually infinite, and we know very little about even our own solar system so I wouldn't say that anything is impossible.

if you think this is big, what about the time it takes if we were to travel to the nearest galaxy andromeda. with the fastest rocket available now, it will take 12 billion years to get there. and this journey is nothing but a dot compared to the size of the universe. we cannot comprehend the largesse of this universe which is still expanding at almost the speed of light at all edges. so the universe will continue to expand forever as there is nothing to stop it. it is endless

You know people have spoken about moving from Earth to other "earth-like" planets? If that is true, then would we have to start from scratch on other planets to make things such as buildings and grow trees, etc. Or would technology play a massive part? It would take hundreds of years to sort planets out.

True. But we do know for a fact planets do not exist as large as a galaxy. The way they are formed it would be impossible. Second, we also know the universe is not "never ending". It is about 80 billion light years across.

Absolute nothingness. Matter does not exist, it is finite within our universe. Thus, empty space cannot exist either. Empty space is matter. It is nothing, as in no-thing. Our brain cannot wrap around the idea, but it is proven. The same fact as our universe is 4 dimensional. (at least). We cannot understand what that looks like, but we know it is. So the edge of universe is not one you would think of as a normal "edge." Yet, on the outside nothing, not time, nor space, nor energy exist.

No,it is not proven.We have no telescope,satellite or any other method to see deeper into the universe than our solar system made up of 9 planets.There are absolutely no facts,only theory.Scientists have GUESSED about the expansiveness of the universe.Stunning details?None.Outer planet confirmations?None.Other solar systems proven?None.All of this is based on theory,we are not entirely sure.

yeah well the you dont know card goes both ways. u dont know they can get that big. and so far we havent even found a planet the size of a star. and planets like earth. well they cant get big like jupiter cuz rocky planets are denser. and if they were as big as jupiter it would collapse in on itself cuz of its density. and well planets dont create their own light. they reflect light. u are able 2 see the other planets at night cuz they are reflecting the suns light.

and why we are pretty sure planets could never get the size of a galaxy is this reason. according 2 the leading theory planets form around a star. and stars form in nebulas. and stars take 90% or more of the gas and dust in the nebula when forming. the remaining % forms the planets moons comets astroids. so if the mother star takes up 90% of the gas and dust. how the fuck is a planet going 2 get the size of a galaxy? its mother star would be bigger then 100 large galaxies together.

When i look at this i thought about somthing, life on another planet far away, a planet a million times the size of the earth. There could be creatures on that planet that ARE the size of our earth... That is insane, we would be plankton in comparison. Blows your mind, i love it!

which is 122.747 light years.
What you are suggesting is that this planet would be bigger then an arvage GALAXY.
sorry this is impossible, since you would need a gas cloud that is bigger then the universe to form such a planet. Sorry dude :P

By the way, Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, the diameter of the planet is about 11 times longer then earth's.
If that planet would be bigger, Nuclear fusion would turn on, and if that happens it turns into another star
so if there should be a planet bigger then a galaxy, it wont be a planet.. but a VERY huge star lighting every corner in the whole universe.

I think we won't ever understand Everything in the universe, but we can get pretty close. As for Black holes I dont think we can ever practically experiment but we might develop new theories and theories which are so plausible that they are almost made out to be 100% true.

It is true that there are no known planets a million times the size of the earth, only stars. But the universe virtually infinite, and we know very little about even our own solar system so I wouldn't say that anything is impossible.
As possibilities for creatures to live, i think trust said it very well about even our own oceans. The number of planets, species, and possibilities in the universe is endless.
