I love the lethargy in his voice. You can feel the melancholy, indifference, paranoia, etc. This sound took some getting used to because it was so unexpected after The Strokes' first two albums, but I can honestly say there isn't one Strokes song that I don't absolutely adore.

I've seen and heard lots of bands in my life, but nothing like the Strokes. This song and "killing lies" are so underrated but they're great songs! They are f**ckn genius and musically talented what can I say. The first time I saw the "Last nite" video I knew they were great and I'm a fan since then.
