now how did you do that? from what i know about source engine for stuff like this there should be some other part of the map with an RT camera or something like in half life 2 example: in nova prospekt there are these stripped combine soldiers on the security camera

you can noclip into their room because they using RT camera

I'm not using any RT camera, I'm manipulating the players current camera (the player view).

The menu environment is a set of models which can be loaded on any map.
