  • SELL THEM AS KITS!!!! i would love to build my own bass

  • This bass has shit sound

  • Don't let Pete Townshend get his hands on those. :)

  • sweet tone

  • That minecraft bass is sick.

  • is that just normal guitar, coverd with lego???

  • sounds like dick

  • awesome! i like the song :)

  • Are these made to be sold? If so I want to know how much. That's a lovely little instrument you got there. :)

  • @XiDarkEntropyiX Yes they are made to be sold. The blue bass shown is for sale as is the blue teardrop shaped guitar that I also have a pic/vid of.

These pieces cost in excess of $1,000 to build so they don't go cheap, but they can be purchased. The yellow guitar that looks like this one sold on ebay for $1,575 to the highest bidder. You could also pick your own colors and body, not to mention select your own pickups, tuners and everything else. If you seriously want one, please let me know.

  • haha how the hell can the legos hold the tension? thats sick

  • Pixels Powahh

  • your cool when........

  • How do I get one?!

  • TAKE MY MONEY!!!

  • ballerrrr !!!! :D

  • real wood guitars tend to sound better with age, but this one will be falling apart with age i guess :)

  • @zoomer51 I don't think so. The 1st build is about 14 years old and NOTHING has fallen off. Super glue is permanent!

  • @oldsoundz i see what u did there.

  • take it on tour with you

  • best part about this bass is that if he doesn't like the style anymore and can make another one :D

  • nice dude! i made a Les Paul outta legos, except i made a flatop mahagony body, then used on of the giant grey lego baseplates, and used the plates and bricks to build an archtop. it looks lego, but still has all the tone.

  • sounds like plastic... no surprise actually...

  • great!! is it an epiphone blues custom you're playing on?

  • @thomasjeeh you don't ever read other peoples comments do you?

  • At 0:20 you can hear what seems to be a rapist explaining to her partner what to do with the now unconscious victim.

  • make sure you don't drop it

  • It's got kind of a chris squire rickenbacker sound

  • minecraft bass

  • Now THAT'S a kick-ass bass tone!!

  • WHO SAID LEGOS AREN'T FUCKING COOL?

  • nice bass

  • are the stings also out of bricks?

  • @TimBuktu666 yes, the stings are also made out of bricks.

  • @timmbosliice cool :)

  • imagine cleaning and waxing this thing...then imagine dropping it.

  • Anyone know if this is a song or just a improvised riff? Its pretty funky.

  • @howtostore I was told it was improv

  • @howtostore sounds like Zelda's inside house theme, School By Supertramp Bass Riff and Promise Keeper.

  • Fucking Kidding Me Are You?

  • i used to play a lego bass but you no..an arrow

  • You drop that thing, you are fucked. No shit. I love it but be careful please.

  • The plastic have this sound? =o

  • Why didn't u stick a few Lego men in there?

  • Awesome now you can smash the guitar at the end of a show then put it back together for the next show

  • I love it

  • When i see this minecraft pops up in my head.... my whole childhood disapear as all lego memories get replaced with minecraft something i dont even play :(

  • With the blocks from this kit, you can also build a castle or a combine harvester.

  • hm....well if you ever feel like being a "badass" and decide to smash that bass, at least you know it could be rebuilt...in about 3days -___-

  • needs more cowbell

  • I dont even know what to say to this....

  • AHEM...WTF?! I wouldunerstand the strings and stuff not being lego, but the whole neck is wodd? hmm...that kinda makes this pretty damn stupid.

  • すごいっ!弾けるんだぁ。。。。ネックもレゴで…って・弾けなくなる?‥苦w

  • Minecraft Bass guitar ^_^

  • its great and all but if you didnt use glue itd break the second you stood up

  • Good idea using EMG's on it. Since it doesn't matter what the hell the body is made out of with those.

  • glue

  • i can finally play bass and legos at the same time

  • looks like someone has to much time on their hands

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

  • Megaman's bass?

  • The blocks are glued together very strongly most likely

  • lego pieces on a real body. next?

  • @2009korte Um...WRONG! Next?

  • @oldsoundz

noo way. how did u do that ? the bridge and the strings would pull the whole bridge out don't they?

  • @2009korte The builder said if he revealed how it was done he would have to kill ya. Seriously though, it is through neck and the body is nothing short of genius. Many hours and MANY blocks. Trial and error and many thrown away blocks.

  • @oldsoundz Superglue.. maybe?

  • @oldsoundz Is there any adhesive involved? It looks like it wouldn't hold together otherwise...

  • @oldsoundz if its a through neck wouldnt that mean the necks lego too????????

  • @oldsoundz The lego pieces are just body wings. The neck extends through the entire length of the body and the bridge is anchored to it. Its a cool bass though.

  • @2009korte It's glued toghether

  • @TheStinger66

    thats the trick ok

  • @2009korte Use glue.. its makes it one solid block of plastic.. notice the lack og low end thunder... nothing takes the place of wood.. nothing..

  • @2009korte sounds like that, you might be right

  • Comment removed

  • id hate to step on that

  • is the whole body really made of legos? thats pretty cool man.

  • HOW!!!! strings didn't break lego??

  • @randomguyfromspace Epiphone sucks. Same w Gibson as a whole. Try EdRoman.com. Also, how much did you pay? Anything over 3Gs you overpayed.

  • Let's hear Lemmy on that

  • minecraft

  • so thats how LEGO sounds...

  • From what I saw, the neck isn't made from lego. Then again, if it was, it would break apart the first time you try it.

  • I want the same

  • I'd concider it as a finish and shape but not all lego... Thats just... yeah...

  • That probably has sustain to die for XD.

  • the body doesn't matter, what's making a good tone is the neck and strings and ofcourse the pickups.

  • that sounds fucking amazing, for plastic it resonates very well and gives a surprisingly rich, deep tone

  • Buy lego bass. Pay $1000+. Accidentally drop it. Cry.

  • @BassPlayerBedwell its super glued together.

  • thats fuckin awsome !!! :D

  • "pull here Ass up!" what's up with that

  • It's be very pity , if he drop this guitar

  • i would hate to drop it

  • And to think if you get sick of you guitar all you need to do is buy a bucket of Lego.

  • What's even more awesome, is you can add trees, lego men, and even build a fortress on your bass guitar. XD

  • so... what coulor can i find this model in?

  • Yes but, will it djent?

  • he´s robert trujillo?

  • *drop*

    Guy: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

  • Haha, think if you loose it into the ground!

  • Minecraft bass guitar

  • this is fucking awesome, but had I built this, the neck also would have been made of lego, and the whole thing would be super-glued together.

  • @mrchildsplay3 I'd love to see you tapping on that bass :P

  • there's a lot of fucking tension on those strings. I'm suprised the thing didn't pull itself apart.

  • Did you make that for your son or did your son make that for you? Get it? Lego... Stupid joke...

  • Creator: Me want make guitar but me no have wood! Son, come here... and bring all the lego's you can find... COME, MAKE HASTE MY YOUNG CADET, we have a deadline to meet!

  • 240p guitar bass body :D

  • @randomguyfromspace i have one too!!! :D

  • Fuck all these Mahogany and Basswood guitars. I'm going for some good old fashion plastic tone woods.. because that's totally a good idea :/

  • where do people get stuff like this?

  • that just fucking amazing

  • how do the blocks stay together? when i was a kid and played with legos pieces would just fall off haha

  • isso e merda ppp

  • i dunno, the sound is kinda.. PLASTIC UHUHUHUHRH

  • i'm at that weird part of youtube again

  • how cool is this :D

  • Hey oldsoundz is the whole thing glued together? I would think the string tension would pull the whole thing apart.

  • After a gig, I'd smash that thing on the ground...Lego pieces flying everywhere

  • careful with that thing at bar gigs!

  • slappa da bass mon

  • @frizzlefry420oh "why do you sound like a leprechaun??" LOL classic I Love you Man xD

  • What song are you playing ?

  • Are you playing salsa?

  • the most depressing base ever made

  • I don't know, sounds kinda blocky..ha...ha

    Sorry

  • now you just need to learn how to play

  • Awesome guitar is awesome.

  • @randomguyfromspace You are probably right. I have handled a few epiphone guitars and I have handled a number of these and would have to say these are better built.

  • does the bass go out of tune quickly?

  • @FlesjesMetWater No, it holds it's tune just fine.

  • pull her ass up lol!

  • what did you use to bond the legos together?

  • @CogCommander3 Superglue

  • @oldsoundz awesome answer =D

  • cool bass but too bad it sounds so bad...

  • @pgrvloik It is being played on a guitar amp, recorded with a handheld and you are listening to it through computer speakers. Of course it sounds bad.

Actually, it sounds pretty damn good!

  • @oldsoundz id have to agree it sounds like it would def have more potential through a bass amp and properly mic'd but i gotta say, awesome job man that a wicked bass, just dont drop it lol

  • @oldsoundz Doesn't sound bad to me, nice job.

  • @pgrvloik He play with a pick too... Everybody know that a bass sounds one thousand time better with FINGER PLAYING !

  • @PhilChaos You're wrong. I the kind of genre you play that matters. For most metal I use a pick, for old rock 'n roll I use my fingers.

  • @sjokboksok sorry but in my opinion GOOD metal bassist play with FINGERS, all the best metal bassist play with fingers aniway ...you can't play metal without popping and slapping the bass, ew. I personally think that playing bass with a pick in metal is like adding a third guitar that does nothing ... Show me a great bassist in metal using pick (really good one) and I will change my opinion

  • @PhilChaos Slap and pop is for funk, not metal, how someone plays is a personal choice that suits their style, I'm sure if you actually bothered to look into any finger-style bassists you'd know a large amount of them also use picks; Entwistle, Flea, Claypool. You talk about adding a third guitar, meaning you obviously can't tell the difference between bass and treble sounds, please, don't come here commenting absolute crap when you know nothing. Oh, Lemmy and Newstead. Also, I play with hands.

  • @PhilChaos Just to name few,

  • @PhilChaos oh by the way some of my favorites metal bands also play with pick (the bassist) So I certainly dont hate them

  • @PhilChaos A lot of people comment on the guy playing and how he is using a pick. Truth is this guy us a guitar player and was just giving a quick demo of the bass. You will also note that he is using a guitar amp vs. bass amp.

Aside from the picking, what did you think of the bass?

  • Comment removed

  • @PhilChaos by the way this was for CaolManson lol .. sorry I think the bass is cool, and I was saying the finger things just to let people know that probably the sound would be more clear with finger

  • @PhilChaos Rex, the bassist from pantera

  • That's awesome

  • si se te desarma cagaste...

  • le. gitimate.

  • Don't drop it...

  • @xMrWalkwayx Or play slap...

  • you could smash it after a concert and just put it back together :)

  • @TOKIOHOTEL1000000 LOL!!!!!!

  • @TOKIOHOTEL1000000 if u find all the pieces :P

  • @TOKIOHOTEL1000000 troll science how to have infinite guitars

  • it actually sounds decent. i can't believe it :D

  • How the hell?

  • Minecraft Bass? ><

  • He should build something on top of it. Think of the possibilities...

  • play that song Zack the Lego maniac

  • the sound is surprizingly good

  • That is one sick looking bass! Luv it man!

  • this is a horible video it is very inapropriate

  • Robert Trujilio's Bro

  • pete townshend would have fun with that

  • @urban2306 Les Claypool liked it

  • @oldsoundz did he really?

  • @1970metalfan Yes he did. Larry LaLonde also was intrigued. He picked up a Lego guitar from it's case and strummed it then remarked about how it was in tune. That guitar had been in it's case unplayed for at least a week prior maybe longer. Watch for more videos!

  • @urban2306 im sure you mean john entwhistle? more notorious for playing bass in the who than pete townshend?

  • @MrOLiB007 You didnt get the joke...
