  • nice i just got 2 festae to go in my indoor pond with 2 oscars,2 green terrors,1 green severum and a florida softshell.i hope they all get along.

  • what kind of gravel do you use i am intersted in setting up a 75 terror dempsy oscar tank plz reply

  • how did u get them to have such nice color? im haveing trouble doing so

  • wow they breed like gouramis do. I wonder if the male makes bubble nests too

  • Absolutely beautiful red terrors

  • tell them to use a condom next time

  • thats hella eggs i think i jus found out where the octomom gets her style

  • how much money do you get for selling these babies?

  • how big do they get?

  • how can u tell which is male n female? n dont say 1s wearing bra or high heel..lol

  • lol.. yeah 1 wears a bra and the other wears the pants. lol..

the vibrant red is the female when she sports her breeding jacket. usually the both have spotted bangles all over their fins but the female has less spots than the male. females also have a black bar under the dorsal fin. hope this helps.

  • wat about wen they r 1-2 inch, do they look the same or they look just like that on the video but small...Thanx

  • its hard to tell at that age. i just picked two 4 inch festaes and the guy told me they look like females but after i had them for awhile they're starting to look more like males because the blue is coming out at the tips. i wont know for sure till they reach another inch. they look better when they reach 5 inches plus.

  • nice fish I have 1 of those in my 90 gallon tank

  • you should put a dither/target fish in there so they wont argue so much.

  • Cool video! Trying to set up a festae tank but having no luck finding any (any suggestions?) Thanks in advance!

  • At what approximate age does the female start showing those solid stripes and bright red/orange color?

  • it isnt a matter of age. this is regular breeding coloration . but they start breeding from 5 to 6" in my experience.
