you should learn how to Half strafe/Half beat.. but the physics have to be VQ3, doesn't go good with cpm physics, also do /pmove_fix 1

I got plenty of basic DeFRaG movement vids of mine, most of my videos are strafes and DeFRaG mod anyways, so you can just watch me from there. One way I learned strafe 5 years ago was putting this cmd in and spectating one guy that was a good strafer.. /df_hud_cgaz 1 & /df_chs0_draw 1 :)

To gain maximum speed you need to go both ways equally, and keep W always unless your in promode. AW, DW, Aw, DW thats equal.

You dont need that map, or the mod, Strafeing works on ne game weith the Dreamquake engine.

TO strafe, press AW, Look left, And jump, then DW, look right, jump, repeat, Dont stop jumping till ur done strafeing :)

I use gauntelt cos it's lighter than the rocket launcher, bfg etc

then if you want cheats type /bind (x) give speed . so each time you click (x) you will get speed .

to finish the jumps you need to accelerate your velocity over 870 in the first one

Meh, I practiced an assload with a Gspeed of 550, and now, without cheats, i already did xcm tricks 2 first pads a few time, and i did 1337HG lvl no problem :) (1337HG is the lvl shown in this video)
