Actually all the saws have pros and cons...Stihl is a great piece of equipment. So is Husqvarna, Echo, even my low end Poulan for standard use. Also, my McCulloch saw is still going strong. One of my neighbors swore by Stihl all his life until he picked up a Husqvarna...my buddy has a Stihl and my Poulan 4218 AVX ran equal to it.
