I loved this film. I don't usually watch suspense and in fact I was fast forwarding through the film when it came on TV, but I became so intrigued I watched it from the beginning.

a page turner is someone who turns the pages of the sheetbook for the pianist, because he/she has his hands full on the playing of the piano.

mariomania has answered this - but actually it's quite funny because proffessional concert painists don't need page turners aas they have to learn the music by heart. what's interesting about the pianist in this film is that she uses her page turner as an emotional support.

it is by the way an incredible film, very subtle and violent revenge story - deborah fancois, the girl, is such a great actress, i think she will be a huge star.
