Danny Williams dynasty will come to an end in 2011 hopefully. He has already lost 1 seat in the NL House of Assembly, and his support is dwindling due to mishandling of healthcare, and just general greed. NL's GDP may have increased but the same cant be said for income. all he wants is more while leaving people in the province in the dust. Manipulative and disgusting. Harper has done ok, dispite paying more attention to the west, he has done a decent job. BTW, I am from NL.

We in the rest of Canada don't mind helping other provinces when they need it but when you are getting rich on oil and still want your welfare chegue we say enough is enough, play fair.

Alberta is the biggest employer of NFLD, yet you dont see Alberta whining about having to pay for equalization payments. You maritimers are absolutely ridiculous. You F'n rights your equali'zn payments should drop based in oil output. The rest of Canada's prov's have their equalz'n base reduce, so should yours. Babies!!!!

So why do you DANSNOVA and Newfiebynature think that your provinces should receive money from the western provnces? The western provinces pave your roads, pay your healthcare, your schools, pay for your port authorities etc. Yet when you guys find some oil you think that shouldnt be deducted from your equalization payments. Dannyboy will ruin your province because of his greed. We in the rest of Canada will not allow welfare payment to continue to Newfoundland when you guys get lots of money from oil. Danny has lost the trust of a large amount of his supporters. Newfoundlanders (most) are not stupid enough to blindly go along with his rediculous anti-democratic campaign of telling us who to vote for. Infact, it has so offended many of us that we plan to vote conservative as a result of his ABC campaign.

Mr. Harper has said "I don't need Newfoundland & Labrador." Well we in Nfld & Labrador, don't need you Steven Harper. I would like to see Danny WIlliams as Prime Minister! He has done more for this province, my home then any other Premier. And he isn't afraid to stand up to Ottawa, when they give us the short end of the stick. Equalization, 5 Wing Goose Bay, Marystown Shipyard, the list goes on.
