Good to see Mexico are playing competitive Rugby. Guatemala, El Salvador, and Costa Rica also got teams though they are not IRB affiliated yet.

What Mexico needs is regular games vs USA, Canada, Uruguay, and Argentina, and the experience will make them improve. Don't forget Mexico hasn't been playing Rugby for long so don't expect them to be good overnight.

Mexico did scrore in Hong Kong 2011: One try against Scotland and one try against Spain. As strattera176 said, Rugby in Mexico has been growing and it is definitely not our national sport but we are raising our hand in world's rugby. So you know, this same team won 3rd place in Central American Games 2011.
