This is happens because yang ultra being too godlike. If you get hited by first hit you will ALWAYS get hitted by the full animation, no matter in what situation happens (airbone state, post K.O. trade, etc)

@XxFierxX I think it has more to do with Yang's shadows ignoring the invincibility properties of his Ultra 1. He takes damage from the initial hit, but because that hit always initiates the full hitstun animation (including the removal of stage boundaries needed for the dynamic camera angles), the red Yang's K.O. results in a series of hitstuns without any actual hits being delivered. Looks awkward, to say the least. :3

The Yellow Yang obviously gets thrown about like he would if Red Yang had actually cleanly connected the ultra, but the damage is not applied because of the finish. If doing it when it does not result in a Super Combo finish, would the Ultra damage still be applied despite the Ultra character being knocked down?

@smileymike101 You are right the palm is considered a projectile HOWEVER Yang's invul doesn't last forever, hence why he can get hit with the palm. This video not only shows off how broken Yang's ko is (joke) but how broken that palm move is because it literally stays out there for ages, even AFTER the dust goes away. So it's really that Yang hits with ultra1 but because he is projectile is still active it hits the other Yang after his invul is over.

@smileymike101 Actually I lied, partially. It's from the super I forgot he activated super which repeats your last input, so inputting super then the palm gives you two palms in essence, and that's what stops the ultra after the invul frames wear off.

@monkeywolf I know the clone hits after and intrerrupts the ultra, what i don't understand is that desk said Yang is projectile invincible during the ultra (meaning he tried to intrerrupt the ultra with the Rose setup), and yang palm is a projectile, so why did the clone intrerrupt it?My guess would be that the clone doing the palm is not considered a projectile.

@smileymike101 Nah it is, but what it is is that Yang is only protectile invulnerable for a certain amount of frames, long enough for fireballs to pass through, but not long enough for a clones palm. The active frames off the palm last for a long time already, so having another one out essentially increases it long enough for yang to get hit with it since the palm will outlast his invul frames.

Just in case anyone doesn't understand it. What is happening is that the afterimage from Yang's super hits with palm AFTER the ultra has already connected. This makes Yang go through the cinematic animation of getting hit, while the camera is normal and other Yang just fall down.
