Why don't rich Muslims pay to convert the heathen in the way that Christians have done so strongly for the last two hundred years or so? They do pay for religious indoctrination but only of people who are already nominally Muslims. You assume that concepts such as 'Peace' and 'Justice' mean the same thing in Islam as they do viewed through the Western mindset. In order to advance the interest of the cult of Islam, which is regarded as the ultimate good, everything, including lying, even murder and assassination are permissible/Halal. But one could make the argument about the spread of Christianity. The Crusades were not just against Muslims, but pagan Baltic tribes too. Christianity in other parts of the world was very much a result of Imperialism. Islam spread to parts of Russia, to Indonesia, and to parts of Africa, through trade, not conquest. I recently read 'The Life of Mohammad' by that great nineteenth century scholar Sir William Muir. Scrupulously fair it nevertheless details the implacable and ruthless manner in which the prophet of Islam sought to make himself master of Arabia. It is a very sobering thought that today few if any publishers anywhere in the world would dare to publish this book.

There has been, during the time of the Crusades and before. But when talking about Islam like that, knowing that Muslims are not applying it, is extremely unfair. If you really want to blame Muslims for being intolerant, go ahead. But do not say that Islam is intolertant because that is not true, beause islam is completely the opposite. Because the whole purpose of life, as we believe in Islam, is to worship the one and only creator. He created us for that reason.
Islam doesn't say anything about treating nonbelievers as if they were guilty of doing anything. As a matter of fact, non-believers have most freedom when under Islamic rule (ideally) e.g. at the time of the Khalifate (Muslim ruling about 1400 years ago) however, some Muslims have deviated from the teachings of Prophet Muhammed PBUH and are extremely intolerant of non-Muslims, but that shouldn't be blamed upon Islam because in theory, Islam is very tolerant.

@toulouse666 It's Trafalgar Square in London, celebrating Nelson's defeat of Napoleon's fleet. It was a big event, marking the start of unquestioned British naval supremacy, so they decided to make a big splash. It's a very interesting place to find peace in the middle of a very busy city.

@jarbon5 I agree with the rest of the video, but this part is not true. The word for "missionary" in Arabic is مبشر "mubashir". I think this is only used by Christian Arabs, though, just like how Christian Arabs say "Yesu'a" for Jesus but Muslims say "'Isa" for their idea of Jesus (same with Christian "Yuhanna" for 'John' vs. Islam's "Yahya"). Islam is weird like that. Even when they use the same language, they can't be too close to the Christians...

They do pay for religious indoctrination but only of people who are already nominally Muslims. But one could make the argument about the spread of Christianity. The Crusades were not just against Muslims, but pagan Baltic tribes too. Christianity in other parts of the world was very much a result of Imperialism. Islam spread to parts of Russia, to Indonesia, and to parts of Africa, through trade, not conquest. I do however agree with your views on immigration, the other baggage is unnecessary.

Scrupulously fair it nevertheless details the implacable and ruthless manner in which the prophet of Islam sought to make himself master of Arabia. It is a very sobering thought that today few if any publishers anywhere in the world would dare to publish this book.

Islam doesn't say anything about treating nonbelievers as if they were guilty of doing anything. As a matter of fact, non-believers have most freedom when under Islamic rule (ideally) e.g. at the time of the Khalifate (Muslim ruling about 1400 years ago) however, some Muslims have deviated from the teachings of Prophet Muhammed PBUH and are extremely intolerant of non-Muslims, but that shouldn't be blamed upon Islam because in theory, Islam is very tolerant.

@jarbon5 I agree with the rest of the video, but this part is not true. The word for "missionary" in Arabic is مبشر "mubashir". I think this is only used by Christian Arabs, though, just like how Christian Arabs say "Yesu'a" for Jesus but Muslims say "'Isa" for their idea of Jesus (same with Christian "Yuhanna" for 'John' vs. Islam's "Yahya"). Islam is weird like that. Even when they use the same language, they can't be too close to the Christians...

If Muslims are victims they are first and foremost victims of their own leaders and their own political values. Much more Muslims die every year from the hands of others Muslims than of the hand of Israelis, Americans or westerners. A Muslim who tries to criticize his own faith finds himself under severe death threats. The Muslim's leaders keep themselves clean by shifting the rage of there own people towards the west or Israel. I must add that It is also the case regarding other religions, the only deference is that nowadays Islam has the largest percentage of fanatic followers that follow the racist word of Islam as is (you will find less of those in Judaism or Christianity nowadays).
