I understand the scare of Codex, and I believe the real danger, but an RN(Registered Nurse) teaching at my school argues the fact the we live longer than ever before. Even in the last 35 years the definition of an older person has changed. People were dying at 75 thirty years ago, and now people are making it to their 90's quite often. How do I go about answering these statistics if the WHO is so wrong?

We used to live longer than ever before, now this is reversing. The baby boomers are starting to die late 50's early 60's at an alarming rate... mostly cancer. The baby boomers did not have friends who had cancer in grade and high school, Now hospitals are built for KIDS with cancer. Just take a look around u at the rates or autism, alzheimers, obesity. Open your eyes .. I wouldn't trust WHO or the FDA at this point. There are 'special interest " members who serve in their ranks.

This scares me! I am a nurse and Dr. Rima is so right. I work in the sickness industry and they profit on illness. I am afraid that we are losing all of our rights and most people are unaware, sleeping at the switch so to speak. We must pass this information along to everyone, even if they laugh (many will). I am going to stock up on the many supplements I take. I am 59 years old, healthy on no medications and rarely get sick.

I am not a health nut but someday I might be and I respect the right of others to cater to their physical health as they darn please. Also, if halk of Americans want to kill themselves with big macs then that is their right as well. I am not big on vitamins but I eat foods/fruits/vegetables that are healthy ad well cooked. Tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, cabbage, reddish, garlick, apples, fiber, wheat, drink teas, etc..
