LoL those are not Dreads what so ever haha.. my hair locked in the first 2 months. Maybe because im black but still ive seen white kids at my school have their hair locked at the same time mine took.. I understand if your're doing it natural but if your're not you need to retwist them bitches every week until the roots start locking and then you can wait longer. And always wash your hair every 1-2 weeks. Cuz those are not dreads at all

nice another few months and they will be looking good give them a bath in baking soda and let them sit for 30 min then rrinse then wash with viniger and thyme tea just boil thyme it helps with oiliness the rinse and one last wash with salt water and they will lock right up good choice doing it natural dont listen to these douche bags whos deffinition of dreads are twisted hair with wax

There is actually- backcombing and then using a crotchet hook. Look up vids about it on youtube- it requires a lot of time and skill but you get clean, mature dreads
