@goblinbarf The Alps are really fun. I did it in the summer 2 years ago (well, with a bike) an do it again this year. From Luxembourg through Germany (Rhein) and over the Alps heading for Italy. In overall, there are great cycle paths, especially in Germany.

We we climbing down to the road, We had to climb up to get to a decent camp spot. Either that or sleep on the pavement. The trip took 36 days or actual riding over about 40 something days. We spent just over two months in Peru and Bolivia. More info on the website mentioned in the video.

The fuzzy hat is a baby Alpaca hat and you wont find them in REI. We found that one at the top of a 4200 meter high mountain pass in the middle of peru.

@ThatFunnyMann I emailed them and asked the same thing, they told me that they used waterproof grease in their bearings. Its called Phil's Waterproof Grease, google it. It works really well.

its a salt flat. basically, there used to be a salt lake there, but it all dried up so its just hard packed salt. looks like they're riding on the clouds.
