@halfstack53 You are correct, that sound is produced thanks to a straigh cam gear conversion. Some people say it gets "annoying" after a while, but I still love it! :)
@jorologo its an easy upgrade. This "muffler" bolts directly onto your heater boxes, if you still have them. Otherwise, buy some J-pipes, and again, its a direct bolt on.
I never actually got a chance to run that combo in my car. A set of dual 40s came up for sale, so I sold the 44, and ran the 40s. They are in the car now, but I still haven't figured out what my mpg is. Still working on the first tank! :)
Actually, someone has a set of duals that I want. He said they MAY come up for sale in the spring. If thats the case, you'll be the first to have dibs on my single Weber! :)

I wonder if this cam will work with the stock fuel injection on a 86 digifant 2.1 vanagon..... I really love the idle on this thing...
