hey man I have a question. what is your take on counting carbs in terms of vegetables? I meet my carb requirements via starchy vegetables (potatoes, carrots, etc), brown rice, etc. But sometimes I go over up to 50 grams because I don't count leafy greens, broccoli, asparagus-things that are 'low carb' and fibrous. Should I start counting them and incorporate them into my carb requirements? Will this hurt me over time? What is your opinion/advice?
Awesome. Thanks. Also you could make your own pasta noodles out of soy,flax or wheat flour. Which also can turn to fettichini making the thicker flat noodle and using parmesan instead of chedder.
I've found that plain Greek yogurt is also a good ingredient--in fact, I've substituted it for butter in box mac & cheese. It gives it a tanginess like aged cheddar, and is packed with protein.
quick question, if i use fat free/low fat shredded mozzarella cheese, would that give it the flavor of a "white" mac and cheese like i used to have as a kid?! thanks!!
