My view is that Bernie is a sincere patriot trying to do what he can in the situation he is in. He's taking on some important issues,but also avoids other issues that are wholly opposed by our corrupted federal Legislature. He didn't say "tariff" or come out against the WTO, for instance, although I know where he stands on it. Also colonel Wilkerson said that bush deferred to Cheney on pretty much everything. He basically made it so that members of congress only have a 3 day workweek and he set up a political action commitee for the house leadership which allowed him to blackmail other members into voting something for him (by witholding campaign contributions from them if they didn't vote as he pleased). They also regularly broke house rules one time postponing the end of a vote for 3 hours.
