  • N73717 actually first flew in 1983 with alitalia as I-DEMS. It had a custom paintjob advertising BULGARI watches

  • its good to see big labour work done in us

  • @BowlofIndoMee lmao xD agree

  • Lol, I recently saw someone claiming that Aeroturbine is a CIA front company

  • wait until they start taking apart an A380, then they will prefer to take apart a 747

  • "The second story, the 747 is the only passenger plane that has one" Wtf they forgot the A380! Or is this just a very old video?

  • if you dont want to waste your time watching the whole film..watch til 05:40 and you will see everything...god how i hate this kind of films

  • i think they are showing two different aircraft. at one point the aircraft has a black nose and at the other clip its has a complete white nose.

  • Their explanation of how the jet engines work is utter garbage. The core always burns fuel to produce thrust, the fan is just the first stage compressor.

  • I really liked that commercial of Boeing with the Harlem Globetrotters :)

  • This is whats great about metal, it can be re-used. Plastics can't.

  • Here's some info on this plane: N73717 Aircraft Description Serial Number 22969 Type Registration Corporation Manufacturer Name BOEING Certificate Issue Date 12/09/2002 Model 747-243B Expiration Date 06/30/2013 Type Aircraft Fixed Wing Multi-Engine Status Valid Pending Number Change None Type Engine Turbo-fan Date Change Authorized None Dealer No MFR Year 1983 Mode S Code 52363647 Fractional Owner NO Aircraft Registration prior to Deregistration Name MARKETAIR HAWAII INC
  • ...about that "upstairs" or 1st class section, few of you can afford it, enjoy it, or even view it. Enjoy your cramped seats in the back. :-)

  • great video, but still makes me sad to see a great machine die like this

  • bye bye 747

  • The coffeemaker is over-priced. They also neglected to salvage the cheaper parts. OTOH the actuators are worth more than $10000 each, surely. Need more recycling going on.

  • ask the b 52 for a airstrike

  • this looks like an old B747-100,200 or 300. There is still the flight engineer's controls.

  • Its a heartbreak to see it stripped to pieces.

  • wow seriously, as stated earlier by someone else, is it really that hard to have portable air conditioners inside the plane or even battery powered fans??

  • thanks for uploading this!! 5/5

  • I just love the Boeing commercial on 16:07 ! :D

  • It's not that spectacular, some US pilots have done all that in just seconds.

  • @austdata "carefully pulled apart"

  • 0:50 WTF?!?!?

  • must be fun

  • Such an amazing machine.

  • The image I had for the people doing this job, the mechanics; after watching this first part of the show.... SOLDIERS RISKING THEIR LIVES..... May not be for their country but still.. RISKING THEIR LIVES for a job

  • i would do this kind of job. it look like fun and a something new to learn

  • You would think those guys would use portable air conditioning units when working inside the aircraft.. It must be like an oven in there.
